Hello AEW Galaxy
Blackpool Combat Club is the future.
Blackpool Combat Club is a one-of-a-kind stable. With a mix of the best technical wrestling in Bryan Danielson and the no-holds-barred brawler style in Jon Moxley, it is a recipe for the future success of AEW. With the experienced William Regal at the helm, the three can help elevate the future of AEW.
In Wheeler Yuta, AEW has already unearthed an amazing talent to be groomed for the future. With that in mind, we could potentially see the group add more members and AEW fans could watch the future unfold in blood.
There are plenty of young talented wrestlers in AEW who can become bonafide stars in the future, given the right direction. I believe these are the top 5 talents who will benefit from joining BCC.
1. Pres “10” Vance
Those who watch AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation are familiar with the pop that 10 gets every time he is in the ring. He is a powerhouse and a specimen who is stuck in a job squad named “Dark Order”.
Having the BCC lure this hard hitter into their fold and have him tear his mask off to decimate Dark Order would be a treat.
He has the look and moveset to be both a lovable bayface and a monster heel, but that potential can be untapped by BCC.
2. John Silver
John Silver is supremely over with the crowd. He is not pushed as much, mainly due to his size. But what he lacks in size, he makes up for it with his mic skills. Wrestling legend Dutch Mantel has been all praise for Silver’s passion.
Blackpool Combat Club can turn him into the perfect underdog story. Let him go heel and work under BCC, only to be ridiculed for his size over and over again. Let him suffer and evoke sympathy among the audience. Finally, when the time is ready, have him break free from the hold of the club and become the next TNT champion.
3. Leyla Hirsch
Legit Leyla Hirsch is already a legit heel. She appears to be a diminutive bull fighter. What she lacks is finesse in her moves. Under the tutelage of Bryan Danielson and William Regal, she could become the most dominant force in the AEW women’s locker room.
Her talent is evident from her Match of the year candidate level bout against Kamille at NWA empowerr.
4. Brian Pillman Jr.
Let’s be honest, Varsity Blondes are just jobbers to the stars right now. Despite talented Brian Pillman Jr. in the lead, the group exists just to further the menace of House of Black.
Pillman Jr. has the chops to do better than be in a nostalgia-induced knockoff of Hollywood Blondes. No wonder he is on the list of wrestlers CM Punk wants to work with. With Blackpool Combat Club, Pillman Jr. could turn into a new age version of his late father’s “Loose canon” persona.
5. Riho
Standing at just 5 feet 1 inch, Riho is undeniably the shortest AEW wrestler. She has the perfect look to be a smiling babyface. But as we know, audiences tend to grow bored of babyfaces too soon. In Riho, AEW has the best candidate to turn into an unexpectedly vicious heel. Someone who can climb over her size disadvantage and dig out a violent persona within that small frame. If done correctly, the turn can be even better than the Julia Hart storyline.
